Solo performance at Theaterhaus Mitte
This solo is based on a series of improvisational tasks I invented in August of 2020. I found this piece to be very unique because each time I would perform, it would turn out much different than the last time and I would find something new and inspiring each time. In the beginning, I created a pathway where I set up different tasks, activities, and movement qualities to play with throughout the space. My goal for this piece was to experiment with playfulness and mindfulness within each task. Channeling my inner child as well as a ‘witch casting spells’ like spirit.
At Theaterhaus, I performed to the track “Before you sleep” by Bruce.
In the process of creating this solo I also experimented with performing it to different songs.
I plan to keep this solo alive, revisit it and share more performances in the future.
